Call for abstracts

Call for abstracts

Submission deadline November 20, 2022

Dear colleagues

We are so very happy to have the opportunity to call for abstracts once again for our upcoming GPD 2023 in-person event in June.

The pandemic halted or slowed down economic progress across the globe, impacting the glass industry, as well. In the GPD spirit of sharing, the disruptions caused by COVID-19 call for us to come together – and determine a way to move on.

How do we grow and keep growing over the long term? That’s what the theme of GPD Finland 2023 addresses – “Way to Grow.”

We and our organizations need transformative capabilities to keep growing. We must be able to integrate, restructure and build internal and external resources to successfully deal with the fast-changing environment.

Transformation is enabled by many factors, such as entrepreneurial thinking and working with those that may be similar to or different from us. And having dynamic transformative capabilities is the way to successful and sustainable, long-term growth.

With transformation in mind, we are now calling for abstracts and workshop proposals. You will find the proposed topics under the conference sections below.

The deadlines for submitting abstracts and workshop proposals are as follows.

  • Abstracts submitted by November 20, 2022, will be reviewed shortly after this deadline. Notification of abstract acceptance or rejection will be sent in December 2022.
  • Abstracts submitted after November 20, 2022 will be reviewed in January 2023. These abstracts must be submitted latest by January 22, 2023.

We look forward to seeing you again in person – and hosting you in Tampere in June 2023!
