Dr. Christian Scherer is Head of Business Development Glass at H.B.Fuller/Kömmerling and responsible to further develop the (smart) glass, façade & SG applications within the Business Unit since 2019. Prior to this, Christian has been working for Kömmerling as BDM responsible for the façade business as well as Laboratory Manager in R&D after joining Kömmerling in 2010. Christian holds a Ph.D. in polymer chemistry from the Johannes-Gutenberg-University of Mainz, Germany.

Bachelor in Food Engineering at Escola de Engenharia Mauá with a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Daniel currently occupies the role of Account Manager of Interlayers for Latin America with more than 15 years of experience. He is a professional with extensive experience in the technical and commercial areas focused on architectural markets.

Bachelor in Materials Engineering with an emphasis in polymeric materials at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, and MBA in Project Management at São Paulo University. Douglas is currently acting as a Technical Services and Application Development representative at Eastman for Latin America. Has about 5 years of experience in processing, development and quality analysis of the laminated glass with PVB, especially for architectural projects and applications.

Emir Debastiani is Technical Service & Development Specialist at Dow Brasil. He is currently responsible for technical support of silicone applications for Dow’s Building & Infrastructure business in Brazil, mainly in applications related to structural silicone and weatherproofing sealants for facades. He holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from UFF – Universidade Federal Fluminense and an MBA in Technology and Innovation Management from FIA – Fundação Instituto de Administração.

Falk Eisert is a key account manager for glass testing at SURAGUS GmbH, specialists for metrology solutions, and he holds a degree in Business Management from Dresden University of Technology. His past working experience includes Johnson Windows Films Inc. and BELCHEM GmbH. Falk has considerable experience in the field of non-destructive testing of functional coatings on glass and solar control window film.

Helen has 25 years of experience in the glass industry, is a general manager at Technoform North America and president of the Façade Tectonics Institute. Helen is an advocate for high-performance fenestration and was named one of USGlass Magazine’s Top 100 Influencers and recognized by US Glass Magazine as one of the top women leaders in the glass industry. She has a Ph.D. in Surface Science from Cambridge University, England.
