Alina Joachim received her diploma in civil engineering from the Technische Universität Dresden in 2017. She started working in the same year at the Institut of building construction at the Technische Universität Dresden. She is part of the research group focusing on adhesive technology and interlayers for glass.

Christiane Kothe studied food chemistry at Technische Universität Dresden with diploma in 2007 and second state examination in 2008. Then she started working as a chemist in the Friedrich-Siemens-Laboratory at the Institut of building construction at Technische Universität Dresden and is part of the research group focusing on adhesive technology and interlayer materials for glass. 2013 she completed her PhD. Her main research topics are surface pre-treatments and adhesive joints in glass constructions.
